Welcome to Kylee Cerulli Photography!

I’m Kylee and this is my first blog post so HERE WE GO! I got into photography when I was pregnant with my son, Theo. I wanted maternity photos and I was planning newborn photos and milestone photos and my husband Matt was quick to jump in and let me know that we couldn’t be paying for professional photos every 3 months like I wanted to. So instead he bought me my first camera for Christmas and I took online classes to learn how to use it so that I could document our lives without paying somebody else to do it for us. From there, I started taking family photos for some of our friends and I quickly fell in love with the whole process. I love capturing other families and their happiness. And I REALLY love getting to deliver the photos to the moms who get to see their hard work of wrangling children and planning outfits and getting Dad to participate paying off.

But ALSO — there’s a chance that you’re reading this and saying, “Wait… didn’t you just counsel me on my new blood pressure medication?” And the answer to that would be yes. I’m actually a pharmacist! I love being a healthcare provider and taking care of the community whether that is filling your prescriptions or giving you your annual flu shot. However, my chosen career path doesn’t always give me the creative outlet that I’m needing. There are really only so many ways I can say “take this with food” so I have found that photography is exactly what I need. I get to work outside and be loud and crazy and do all the things that I can’t exactly do when I’m in a pharmacy all day long.
